Simple Process

How NTX Storm Damage Works

We're a free referral service — not a roofing company. Here's how we connect you with the right licensed contractor for your property, your county, and your insurance carrier.

1
Submit Your Request
Fill out the form with your name, phone, and city. No payment, no commitment. We match your request to licensed contractors serving your specific community and insurance corridor.
2
Contractor Gets in Touch
A licensed, insured contractor reaches out within 24 hours to schedule your free roof inspection. You're not obligated to proceed — the inspection itself is free and provides valuable information about your roof's condition whether you file a claim or not.
3
Inspection & Claim Support
Your contractor performs a complete inspection with chalk marking and photo documentation, then walks you through the insurance claim process — including adjuster visit support and supplemental claims if the initial estimate comes in low.

Why NTX Storm Damage

North Texas Roofing Is a Local Knowledge Business

After major hail events in North Texas, out-of-state contractors flood the market. Some do good work. But they don't know which Tarrant County adjusters cover your neighborhood, what Southlake's HOA approval process looks like, or how to document a Colleyville roof with deed restriction considerations. That local knowledge shortens claim timelines and produces better outcomes.

We refer to contractors with established North Texas presence — not passing crews following storm tracks. Every contractor we connect you with is independently licensed and insured in Texas.

  • Licensed Texas roofing contractors only — verified at time of referral
  • Local adjuster relationships built over years of North Texas claim work
  • HOA and deed restriction knowledge for the communities we serve
  • Free service — no fees, no markups, no obligation to proceed
  • Coverage across Tarrant, Denton, and Collin counties
  • FTC-compliant affiliate disclosure — see footer for full disclosure
About This Service

What NTX Storm Damage Is — and Isn't

NTX Storm Damage is a lead generation and referral service for North Texas homeowners dealing with hail and storm damage. We are not a roofing company. We do not perform inspections, file insurance claims, or install roofing materials.

When you submit a request through this site, we pass your information to licensed roofing contractors in your area who may contact you about your inspection needs. We may receive compensation from contractors or affiliate partners when a connection results in a completed project.

That compensation doesn't change what we tell you — our goal is to connect homeowners with contractors who have real local experience in the specific communities we serve. We only refer to contractors with verified Texas licensing and insurance.

Every page on this site contains a full affiliate disclosure in the footer. We don't hide the business model — we think transparent referral services that connect real homeowners with real licensed contractors do something useful in a market that has a lot of bad actors.

Common Questions

NTX Storm Damage FAQ

Is the inspection really free?
Yes. The roof inspection performed by the contractor we connect you with is free. You're not charged for the inspection and you're not obligated to use the contractor for any work afterward. If you choose to proceed with a claim and the contractor does the work, they're compensated through the insurance claim and/or directly — not through any fee charged to you for the referral.
How does NTX Storm Damage make money?
We're a referral and lead generation service. We may receive compensation from roofing contractors or affiliate partners when a connection we facilitated results in a completed project. This is fully disclosed — we believe in transparency about the business model. Your inspection is free regardless of whether we receive any compensation from a resulting project.
Does homeowner's insurance cover hail damage in Texas?
Most standard Texas homeowner policies cover hail damage under the windstorm and hail peril. You pay your deductible and insurance covers the balance. Some policies carry a separate wind/hail deductible — check your declarations page before filing. A contractor can help you interpret your policy terms relative to your specific inspection findings.
How long do I have to file a hail damage claim?
Texas generally gives homeowners one year from the date of the storm event to file a claim, though policy terms vary. Don't wait — weather records and hail maps documenting the event are essential supporting documentation and easier to pull close to the storm date.
Do you serve my neighborhood?
We currently serve 16 specific communities across Tarrant, Denton, and Collin counties — see the area grid above for the full list. If your community isn't listed, submit your request anyway with your city and zip code. We're actively expanding coverage and may be able to connect you with a contractor in your area even if we don't have a dedicated page for your city yet.
Are the contractors you refer licensed in Texas?
Yes. Every contractor we refer holds a valid Texas roofing contractor license and carries general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. Licensing and insurance are verified at the time of referral. If you have any questions about a specific contractor's credentials, ask them directly — they should be able to provide documentation on request.
